Wet manure, digestate, and caked litter are heavy, smelly, and expensive to move. Dry them from as high as 80% moisture down to about 12%, and you have a stable, pellet-ready material you can sell instead of haul.
*A ton of manure at 80% moisture holds 400 lb of solids; dried to 12%, that’s about 455 lb. Drier inputs like broiler litter (typically around 25–30% moisture) lose much less weight, but still need drying to pelletize well. Real results depend on your material.
Litter and manure carry real nutrient and fuel value. Wet, that value is locked inside a product that is mostly water: too heavy to truck far, too unstable to store, and too often limited by where and when you can spread it.
You pay by the ton to move water. Most of every truckload is moisture, not product.
Nutrient management rules can restrict where and when litter goes on the land, so it piles up.
Wet material breaks down, smells, and draws complaints the longer it sits.
The same material, dried and pelleted, sells as fertilizer or fuel instead of costing you money.
Poultry litter, livestock manure, crop residue, or a mix. Neighbor farms' material can add volume.
The ISD series handles material up to 80% moisture. Output comes out dry and stable, ready for a pellet mill.
Pelleted, the material is easier to store, ship, and sell. Common outlets include organic fertilizer and biomass fuel.

An industrial dryer is a capital project. It pays off when there's enough material coming through every week. Here's where it fits best.
Wet manure in steady volume, with storage or spreading pressure. The strongest fit.
Digestate, sludge, and byproducts that are mostly water and costly to move.
Broiler litter is already fairly dry, so a dryer pays off when several farms pool litter into one pellet operation.
